The term "vitamin K" refers to a whole group of vitamins. Spinach provides vitamin K1, which is involved with the blood clotting mechanism. It is my information that the K vitamin group which is involved with calcium absorption, along with D3, into the bones is the vitamin K2 group, i.e., menaquinone 7, et,al, Comments welcome.

I found that since the body stores vitamin A you really should understand how it works. You shouldn't just eat lots of any liver because it can damage your own liver so read up on Vit A toxicity and eat liver in proper proportions so as not to overdo vitA intake.

It sounds like if you haven't done the lutein in your diet since youth… that adding it to the diet in your later years is sometimes too late to stop macular degeneration.

Avocados are one of my favorites. They contain lutein and zeaxanthin, as well as healthy fats and preformed vitamin A.

Eggs are horrible for your health. Not to mention 90% of the egg industry kills Millions upon millions of baby male chicks by grinding them up alive. It's disgusting. Choose Just Eggs if you want to have eggs and they tastes exactly the same.
