The Kenyon Lions Club has four low vision machines that are available at no charge to people with vision problems, such as macular degeneration.

The units are Merlin desktop video magnifiers. They allow people to continue to read books, magazines, newspapers, mail etc. on their own. The machines are simple to use and have a screen that can tilt for comfortable viewing angles. There are multiple viewing modes with varying levels of contrast for  clear reading.

One of the low vision projectors has become available. Interested persons may contact Rich Ellingsberg at 507-251-4796 or Jim Fountaine at 507-330-1333.
