Actually not that difficult to figure out, wealthiest country where comfort and convenience rule. answers are sought outside rather than inside, therefore more medicine, processed foods, leisure activities, distractions and irresponsibility.

Before I see what your opinion is about this is, here's mine: So, SO many people in the USA use the mainstream-medical to treat their ailments/diseases/ sicknesses with expensive tests & their pharmaceutical drugs, (that usually DO HAVE side-effects), which mostly, does not 'heal' or cure anything, but treats symptoms. We need to get to the 'root' of problems. We have gotten more & more knowledge about organic ways to treat different things that occur in our bodies, such as what you & many others talk about & teach us; but I believe there are still millions of people that don't want to research or learn how to take dominion over their own health issues, & are not willing to make changes in what they eat, how they live, etc. & then again, to me, there is also a soul & spirit area, that I think a whole lot of people neglect & many just don't understand or know how to deal with it. Such as sadness, disappointment, betrayal, emotional pain, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, lonliness, abuse, & more; that gets stuck in us & alot don't know how to get it out of them. That is why there is a spiritual component to HEALTH also. Namely, God. I believe that sickness&disease can come in on any level of our being; spirit, soul or body. So we need to deal with all 3. God says that "MAN SHALL NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE, BUT BY EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD." So, even nutrition & really good foods & ways of eating will not always solve the problems people have. Yes, nutrients can get costly at times, & getting organic foods, etc., but it SURELY! costs less to stay healthy than to treat disease with the costs that are in the medical profession, hospitals, doctor visits, etc. ( I really do not understand that a person can be in the hospital for just 1 week, & chock up the bill to $50,000.00 a week, & even more! I've never understood why the costs of hospitals are so very expensive.) Another area of our lives that people really need to take responsibility for…..their HEALTH & WELL-BEING. What about Laughter? Sunshine? forgiveness? Repenting of sin? Moving our bodies? work? Play? Worship? Rest? Giving? Receiving? Doing what we know to be right? Being Kind & Gentle? Not manipulating anyone? Love? AND, developing a relationship with our Creator, thru His Son, Jesus Christ. These are also very important things for Health & Being Well. God has Precious Promises for us to partake of…………….

3 trillion dollars every year, going into whose pocket? They are getting rid of original people by making health care costs of stupid proportion to kill off the financially struggling population. Remember the saying "the gap between the rich asses and the financially struggling poor is getting wider"? This is their plan.

The Uber riche never get sick. They have everything they need, but like the Parable of the Rich man and Lazarus, they go to hell. Heaven is for those which suffer in this earth, but these people must accept the right ways of the LORD.

    St. Luke 16
    1611KJB
19 There was a certaine rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linnen, and fared sumptuously euery day.

20 And there was a certaine begger named Lazarus, which was layde at his gate full of sores,

21 And desiring to bee fed with the crummes which fel from the rich mans table: moreouer the dogges came and licked his sores.

22 And it came to passe that the begger died, and was caried by the Angels into Abrahams bosome: the rich man also died, and was buried.

23 And in hell he lift vp his eyes being in torments, and seeth Abraham afarre off, and Lazarus in his bosome:

24 And he cried, and said, Father Abraham, haue mercy on mee, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and coole my tongue, for I am tormented in this flame.

25 But Abraham saide, Sonne, remember that thou in thy life-time receiuedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus euill things, but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

26 And besides all this, betweene vs and you there is a great gulfe fixed, so that they which would passe from hence to you, cannot, neither can they passe to vs, that would come from thence.

27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore father, that thou wouldest send him to my fathers house:

28 For I haue fiue brethren, that he may testifie vnto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

29 Abraham saith vnto him, They haue Moses and the Prophets, let them heare them.

30 And hee said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went vnto them from the dead, they will repent.

31 And hee said vnto him, If they heare not Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be perswaded, though one rose from the dead.

Over here in NZ when you go to see a doctor I’d have to say it’s like listening to a pre scripted answer followed the usual course of drugs.
In my that would be pain killers, Diclofenac sodium, and inhalers.
None of which treat the problem effectively and you certainly don’t want to be on then continuously.
I wonder if the drug company’s control what a doctor can prescribe by saying they are safe to prescribe for these symptoms only. Eg. That’s what the drug is tested to do.
I get the feeling our doctors are bound in legal butt covering tape and not allowed or afraid to make there own call for fear of being kicked out of their practise or socially ostracised

The problem is the 3 Trillion spent, there so much money is sickness it is a self fulfilling prophecy. After keto and weight loss, I have had a doctor appear "dissapointed" there were no medications to prescribe. It was truly weird, I thought they would be happy I was healthy.

Dr. Berg……..Thank you so much for everything you do! Keto is a life style for me. I'm 72 and have been diabetic for about 30 years. Three monthago I saw your video that has changed my life for the better. Been on insulin for over 4 years…up to 80 units daily. I'm happy to report that after three weeks, I got off and for the last 76 days insulin free. The USA is totally misinformed by our doctors, ADA, AMA, etc. America is obese because of Insulin Resistance. In my opinion, we should not call this disease Diabetics……We should call it "CARBOHYDRATE INTOLERANCE" .. Then, everyone would recognize the fact that their body is intolerant to carbs (sugars).

1.The main problem is people are nutritionally ignorant. They haven’t gotten the slightest idea what food does to their bodies. They eat for flavour, not for nutrients.

    2. They are not responsible for their own health. They are reliant on others like doctors, insurance companies to fix the problems that they self-inflict.

Have to agree w/ Rural Squirrel__in a nutshell, good health takes a back seat to monetary wealth here in a America. The deeper cause is spiritual bankruptcy, which leads to a poor attitude towards important things like health & well being. Lack of education is the driving force. The Health Care Industry feeds the economy, not the people.

I have so much to say on this subject. But I’ll simply say that Dr Berg, you hit the nail on the head when you stated there is very little health in healthcare. The focus of medicine is reactionary— #1. we need to educate nurses and Drs to treat patients in a holistic manner, beginning with “food as medicine” I’m so disappointed that I learned very very little in regards to nutrition in nursing school — and apparently so did many other healthcare professionals I work with. So no matter how hard we work to treat patients, we are spinning our wheels as many often return to their poor eating habits and skip exercise. #2. We need to also hold people accountable for their own health. I like the concept of waste measurements but unfortunately some will say that’s an invasion of privacy 🙄
Honestly—the whole medical system is just broken. Let’s start from scratch! Perhaps we can learn from other countries

The U.S. Air Force switched (2006-2007) to measuring waist, weight, height, (i.e. BMI)—push ups, sit-ups and a run. They said they did this because these performance measures were leading indicators of poor health and higher health care related costs as well as contributing to people not being able to deploy and meet mission requirements. There are two problems that cover at least 80% of the population.

1st. People do not want to hear that they have to watch what they eat & drink.

2d. Companies are all to happy to treat preventable chronic disease and symptoms with pills.

Essentially all of America's knowledge on health and wellness comes from incomplete or outright malicious studies from 60-70 years ago, and despite knowing this, somehow old studies remain at the forefront of medicine at practically any MD's office in America. Take the food pyramid as an example. The 2nd to highest most important food is starches!
